City Hall - FG assigned this issue to Public Works - AP (Forestry)

Caleb: thanks - my message was not to you, but to city folks. once the message goes to the city it needs to be flagged - which now this one has - since DPW forestry is the appropriate department. I didn't want to duplicate efforts - and wanted to make sure the urgency was evident.

Many wasps are still there right now. The nest appears to be under the granite cornerstone, on the path between the Lawrence Street entrance and the basketball court. I live nearby so I put caution tape around the immediate area. I hope that helps for now.

Thank you for reporting this issue. Although Forestry does not handle wasp & hornet nests that have become a hazard to residents, I referred the location to our contractor who handles these issues yesterday. I am expecting a quick resolution. I will update this request as progress is made.

At Dana right now and the hornets are still coming in and out from the granite on the corner.

Damn. So definitely not handled. Hope it’s dealt with soon. My kids are still refusing to go anywhere near Dana after their experience last week.
